What does the Muscle Accelerator do?

The idea of Purity Products’ Muscle Accelerator is, as the name suggests, to grow your muscles. It consists of capsules and it is recommended to take 2 capsules per day for optimal results as a man.

According to Purity Products, the Muscle Accelerator provides the following:

  • An increase in strength
  • Bigger muscles
  • Better endurance
  • More lean muscle mass,
  • A lower fat percentage
  • More free testosterone

The Muscle Accelerator is a combination of 2 botanicals: East Indian Globe Thistle & Mango Tree Bark. These 2 ingredients make the effect possible. We will discuss these ingredients more in detail shortly.

Does the Muscle Accelerator work?

With the marketing of the Muscle Accelerator, Purity Products capitalizes on the fact that clinical studies have been conducted on it. From what can be read, the studies went as follows.

Two groups were created that both had to follow a specific strength training schedule. Subsequently, 1 of these 2 groups received the Muscle Accelerator as a supplement. After 14, 28, and 56 days, the difference in muscle strength between the 2 groups was compared using the bench press and the leg press.

In these exercises, the maximum weight that could be pushed away 1 time was looked at. At the start, there was no significant difference between the 2 groups.

On the other hand, there was a significant difference from 28 days onwards; the group that had received the Muscle Accelerator was able to push away a significantly heavier weight during both exercises.

Other research has also been done because other benefits of the Muscle Accelerator are also scientifically substantiated. However, this research cannot be found.

The aforementioned research seems to show that the Muscle Accelerator actually works. The annoying thing, on the other hand, is that you don’t have access to the full research article; thus, the precise details of the study are unclear. This makes it difficult to draw conclusions from the available data, as the studies may have several flaws.

What do customers think of the Muscle Accelerator?

To get an idea of what people think of the Muscle Accelerator, we take a look at Amazon. At the time of writing, 1319 ratings have been left here regarding the Muscle Accelerator.

You can see the reviews by clicking here. In general, people seem to be very positive; the average rating is 4.1 out of 5 stars.

Indeed, several people say that they saw results after about 3 weeks. Many people report that they have noticeably bigger muscles, more strength, and better endurance.

On the other hand, there are also several people who indicate that they have not seen any results or even indicate that they have had various health complaints. These include, for example, stomach pain, headache, and higher blood pressure.

Research on the ingredients of the Muscle Accelerator

As we have just mentioned, the Muscle Accelerator consists of 2 main ingredients: East Indian Globe Thistle (Sphaeranthus Indicus) and Mango Tree Bark (Mangifera Indica).

The Sphaeranthus Indicus is often claimed on the internet to have many health benefits. However, there is little scientific support for this. For example, a review[1] published in 2020 stated that there is not yet enough evidence that herbal medicines can contribute to weight loss; this review also looked at the Sphaeranthus Indicus. The same applies to the Mangifera Indica; again, not enough research has been done to show that it offers fitness benefits.
